Installation fails #2

Hello,
I've been trying for a while to install PiAnywhere on Raspberry Pi 3 B, with latest Raspbian Jessie.
Running the install script doesn't get the modem recognized nor listed among USB devices.
Following the advices from the troubleshooting page, I checked the clock is set to the correct time, and it is, and I checked the kernel modules too, and the output is:
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ lsmod | grep GobiSerial
GobiSerial 4012 0
usbserial 22115 1 GobiSerial
I also tried the pre-packaged Raspbian images from here, with the same outcome.
Any help would be much appreciated.
