I think (Survivor) or (Infected) should be showing???? instead it shows up as 04Playername or 15Playername

Where does it appear like that. IRC or in game? The purpose is to change name color in IRC based on team. Maybe your IRC client doesnt support colors or something is stripping the char 0x03
