Make a standalone 3D game engine aiming:

  • lightweight
  • multiplatform support (desktop first)
  • easy to implement Abyss games upon
  • legal to license as open source

Preparations:

  • languages to consider: haxe, c, c++
  • libraries/backends to consider: raylib, sokol, raw opengl, sdl2/3, godot
    ...
