Problem using UITabBarController

Using other ViewController as Content is fine but when using a UITabBarController the SideBar appears as second ViewController of the tab.

I'm not sure why that would be happening. My guess is it has something to do with Storyboards. Unfortunately I don't have much experience with Storyboards.
