api.domains_dns_delHost Errors

While running the command to delete a subdomain dns entry I get

Remote: 54
To set: 54
Something went wrong while removing host record, delta > 1: 54 -> 54, aborting API call.

I tried digging a bit and found some inconsistencies with the docs saying you want HostName and HostType, which resulted in key errors.

As best as I can tell it isn't properly popping the entry I would like to remove before re-applying the DNS.
