Failed to open MMC block device: Permission denied

Interesting result. I have an SD card locked by Garmin, tried to erase and format. SDtool recognizes the card, but Unclock command brings the following:
[-] Failed to open MMC block device: Permission denied.
The same with Status and Reset.
So it looks that the Micro SD is locked in a different way, a special permission needed?
