Description
T&H tab, daily chart: The current figure shows the a smoothed average 24-hour temperature profile for each month and a scatterplot of datapoints for the individual hourly data. However, in some instances actual individual 24-hr day profiles are of interest, particularly those at the extremes. This can't simply be read from the scatter plot points - for example the day with the highest temp in the afternoon in a given month may not have the highest temps at night in the same month.
Consider adding lightweight lines that indicate actual 24-hour temperature profiles. For example, on the day with the highest and lowest hour temperature respectively. e.g. something along the lines of.
Maybe also include a line showing the 24-hour profile of the day where the 24-hour average temperature matches that of the entire month of data
