I had a question/feature request related to pptext.

I'm running pptext from the workbench in a browser, and some/most of the checks highlight whatever it is the check has flagged--so scanno checks highlight the flagged term, character checks the character, mixed case checks the word with mixed case, etc.

But there are a few checks under "special situations" where there is no highlighting, including "ampersand character", "standalone 1", and the one that most often gets me, "punctuation error."

"Punctuation error" always gives me a lot of false positive results--one for every abbreviation followed by a period, like "viz.," and "Louis XIV.,"--but because there's no highlighting it takes longer to review the flagged lines than for most of the other checks. It's not a huge deal but if it's not too hard a fix I'd love to see a highlight added to this particular check.

As a side note: right now pptext runs the same check for ampersand characters twice, once under "character checks" and once under "special situation checks". I think both of these are controlled by the "run text checks" option, so there's no way someone could be running one and not the other. Would it make sense to suppress one or the other to avoid duplication?
