Control the number of displayed digits #25
Description
When displaying a floating point value of a device, some floating point, which can't be perfectly represented in binary, end up displaying many zeros with a 1.
If we assume all devices have worse accuracy than .1%, we can make the display widget only show 3 significant digits.
