Feature Idea: Provide downloads for the drop client on the web interface

Obviously this could be a double edged sword. I think it'd be killer for making instances more self-contained (e.g. having a drop instance on an offline LAN network would require some other way to get the client to users) but could be abused to distribute bad clients to users. That said, any software distributed on the instance could be malware, so maybe it's a non-issue. Just wondering whether anyone's considered this idea before.

110% back this. The download of the binaries from the web or client are identical, I doubt drop does hash verification just for the transfer and even that would only protect against MITM attacks, which do not protect against malware existing in the binaries on disk.

So I feel confident in saying this is perfectly safe to implement, just requires someone to do the work.
