Hello! Thank you for willing to help! I recommend making a fork of this repository and adding this repository as an upstream. Keep in mind that this project is very early in development and changes will be made very frequently. There is a lot that goes behind open-source contributing and, personally, I don't have much experience with it. However, here are some things you should do:

1. Make a fork of this repository. This will give you your own personal copy.
2. Clone the repository to your computer using git.
3. Use the following commands in your cloned version on your computer:

git remote add upstream https://github.com/EatSleepProgramRepeat/GemQSS.git
git fetch upstream
git merge upstream/master

When you run the commands git fetch upstream and git merge upstream/master, your copy of the repository will be updated with my most recent code.

4. When you finish writing code for an issue, create a pull request, and I should be able to approve it.

When programming...

• Please use comments
• Make detailed commits and pull requests
• Format your code nicely

Eventually, I will make a CONTRIBUTING.md file with more instructions.

Thank you again for the detailed instructions!
After reviewing the sub-issues, I'd like to challenge myself and work on #7: Make a base64 encoder for images. I have some experience with programming and feel comfortable tackling this task.
I will now proceed with forking the repository and setting up my local environment.
