change this line : $bytes = (ord($utf16{0}) << 8) | ord($utf16{1});
by this one : $bytes = (ord($utf16[0]) << 8) | ord($utf16[1]);

Hi, I'm getting the same error after changing all the "{}" into "[]"
I'm running PHP 8.2.29

It's for php 7.3 and i haven't been able to convert to php 8 yet.

but for the error "Creation of dynamic property FreePBX\modules\Endpointman::$freepbx is deprecated" you must to add a lot of public like this :
