Project Description
Large public gatherings from concerts to transit hubs face significant risks of overcrowding and stampedes. Traditional security relies on human vigilance, which is reactive and prone to error. C-TRACK solves this by automating crowd safety.
It is a Security Operations Center (SOC) dashboard that utilizes Computer Vision (YOLOv8) to detect and count individuals in real-time. The system calculates crowd density per zone and triggers instant visual and audio alarms when safety thresholds are breached. To ensure enterprise-grade reliability, we integrated Google Firebase Authentication for secure access control and Cloud Firestore for real-time data synchronization and evidence logging. C-TRACK provides security teams with the actionable intelligence needed to act before a critical incident occurs.
