Item's model not changing

I was testing your mod with my own mod. But the item appearance didn't change. I'm using the client minecraft test on build gradle.

I'm not sure what you mean by the model not changing
The default settings are set in such a way where the item models will only change in the game world, with details about the transmogrification visible on the item's tooltip
