Python "To eval" API calls are not taking any effect.

Following the documentation instruction to set up Python calls:

It is not taking any effect in the Project Routes (available when you tick 'Python') neither the System Routes panel.

All the other functionalities have been working nicely for me even in 4.5 LTS since slashv forked the repo:

Thanks slashv and hope @JPfeP is well since we haven't heard from him in a while.
