Incomplete/Useless Documentation

I found the documentation for this extension, but there is zero information for how to install it.
Do you guys expect users to search up the git repository in order to find out how to install your extension?
Why isnt it in the docs?
Please explain your thinking process.

If you want people to interact with your questions, maybe phrase them like kind questions and not offensive finger pointing :-)

@garvinhicking I agree, the phrasing a bit offending -- usually missing things just haven't been considered probably but not been left out intentionally.

The extension will get a new release soon, there I can add the missing part. I suppose it could be even added by copy & paste from another extension.

Hey, sorry for the tone in my original post.. had a rough day.

What frustrates me in the TYPO3 ecosystem sometimes is that docs often assume you already know certain things, so you end up digging around for basic details. Its not the first time i see docs with fundamental parts missing.

The problem is that often docs are written by the people "who know". We are no didactic writers often, but developers. So we take certain things for granted. We're happy to improve shortcomings, but ideally we're told in a form that motivates us to do so, rather than getting fingered. Thanks for recognizing that :)
