Folder auto-collapses When clicking on the folder

Spaces or Folders, whatever it is called, it auto collapses on click, unlike previous versions such as version 1.09, it remains open despite how many times you click it.

Now, in the latest version, It is bothersome to try and see the tabled view of my notes inside a folder if it just auto collapses. on click.

I can turn on the auto expand on click in the settings but that would just be another addition of a click.

I know this is such a simple problem, but over time it just becomes annoying.

just to clarify, I am not clicking on the arrow at the left most part of the UI. I just click anywhere, like in the center, or right side, etc.
