question: output data availability for unit results

I see in the documentation that PRAS can report on unit availability by generator / timestep / sample. PRAS treats this as Boolean variable with availability designated as TRUE/FALSE accordingly for each run in sequential monte-carlo runs.

Is it also possible for a user to retrieve the MWs on forced outage profile by generator / timestep / sample? Or what about the MW availability by generator / timestep / sample?

Hi Jim - This isn't available pre-packaged, but can be readily computed for each generator/timestep/sample by multiplying sample-level slabs of the boolean availability array (potentially negated to get capacity on outage, rather than capacity available) with the input available capacity matrix (i.e., sys.generators.capacity). Then you can sum across generators (dimension 1) to get total capacity available/unavailable by timestep and sample.
