COMM_GET_VALUES timeout

Ive built the display as described, it boots up and displays correctrly but all the values are 0, when connected to my serial monitor i get..

Timeout

Ive made sure on the vesc to have it set to ADC and UART and ive set the baudrate to 115200 in the UART app.

Ive tried swapping the rx and tx wires over just in case but no differece.

Thanks for the details! Just to check, do you have the GND connected between the ESP and the VESC? Also, which ESP IO pins are you using for the UART connection?
