JSON data

Hi,
I would like to use this as a MESC display, which outputs JSON data over serial port. Is there a way I can interface that?
Where can I find what the data format is currently ..

Update, I have removed all the ComEVesc uart code, and replaced with my own code to get the data from serial JSON packets that the MESC controller puts out. I will test when my display arrives. If it works, I could fork your repo and check in the code.
