Super simple Skybox performance is too slow for Quest 2

Is there a way to improve the performance of Super Simple Skybox? When I enable it on Quest 2 in my VR game the frame rate drops below 72 fps. I have disabled stars and moon. I only have a few slow moving clouds. But it didn't still achieve 72 FPS. It works fine on PSVR2.
