The first version of the quantitative comparison tool

The first version of the quantitative comparison tool has been ready for more than a year, and the corresponding (unpublished) paper has also been essentially ready for almost a year. Recently, the server for ontology-based data access (the Ontop server and the mappings) has been down for a couple of months due to updates.

Since the data in the scenario datasets have not changed and the mappings also remain the same, the tool should still work as before (at least for the datasets for which we have created mappings), regardless of the recent OEKG and OEO updates.

I would like to kindly ask whether there are plans to (re-)enable this tool for the community and to move forward with publishing the paper.

If we all agree to publish the first version of the paper, it would be great to include all contributors who have been involved in developing and shaping the quantitative comparison tool as coauthors.

a few things changed as we updated to the current oep url (with https and without "-" in openenergyplatform.org.

I had a PR for that but i had to cut work on that

This tool should be fix. I think the ontop server should be available, it is just not returning the correct data? Maybe i stopped it as it want working ... should check,

We should also enhance it while we on it. WE have a python package in the works to automatically generate the semantic mappings required to automatically provide one for each table where annotations are available in a table oemetadata document. We basically stopped working on it after the end of sirop as we had no resources left.
