Null is a valid thing that can be returned for a resource loader, and Continunity is refusing to accept null as something that can be returned.

"getResource cannot accept null return values despite this being implemented in multiple instances in default implementations."

I have the same issue - immersive vehicles and continuity crash on 1.20.1 forge. I beg modder gods to kindly fix this. I can't live without it.

actually i tried to build it myself, continuity used canvas render but i cant get the pom file of it since their website is down, i hope they'll fix it soon

This is not a Continuity bug. Immersive Vehicles fixed the issue about 2 weeks ago in DonBruce64/MinecraftTransportSimulator@1ffdd58, but a release was not made with that fix yet.
