Plot improvements #107
Description
This is a list of changes or new plots we'd like to make
- Improve how we analyze results #104
- Remove white border from bar plots
- Reduce the cutoff for "other" so that we don't have nuclear being shown for only some plots
- Make a map plot of the percent buildout per load zone for wind and solar
- Add curtailment to the average daily dispatch plot as a red bar on top (like Julia did)
- Add transmission lines in the background on the buildout map
- Add average line to state of charge plot to visualize seasonal storage
- Make a plot that shows how many cycles a storage projects do based on summing the charging and discharging dispatch instructions and dividing by the total capacity.
- Add a map that shows the night to day ratio of certain technologies (e.g. wind). (e.g. to determine where is wind night dominant)
- Add a horizontal line to the state of charge plot for the maximum daily difference.
Update: Some of these may already be complete, I need to go through the list and update what is complete.
