Antennapod sync question

Started with a fresh install of Antennapod on a new android device. I can sync podcasts from Antennapod to podfetch, works fine. But podcasts added to podfetch don't sync to antennapod even though I am using the same user/password on both. User error or am I missing something?

They should sync out of the box if the rss feeds match. I'll check.

in the manage gpodder podcasts, nothing shows up.

That's weird. Did you even connect to AntennaPod and also sync via GPodder menu? You should be able to see all synced podcasts of all users.

on antennapod, yes. created a device, etc. that side seems to work since i can sync to podfetch, just not from podfetch. but i just sent a log file. notice an error at the end. almost like the device isn't getting registered properly.

was there any resolution on this? or is this on my end?

'I can try again. Last time I checked it seemed to work with none local pod fetch podcast rss feeds.

just did a fresh podfetch container using this guide - https://mariushosting.com/how-to-install-podfetch-on-your-synology-nas/
logged in using the docker credentials
created a new admin user
logged in using the new admin credentials
created an API key
using OPML inport, imported my podcasts (65). waited for and hour or so to make sure all the importing was done.
checked settings and all my podcasts are there under 'managed podcasts'
fresh install of antennapod on my android tablet
setup sync using my admin credentials from above, created 'antennapod' device
force full synchronization
nothing gets pushed to my tablet
no errors show up on either the container of the tablet
maybe i'm missing a step somewhere?
