Deployments status stuck "In Progress" after default YAML file is modified

We created a multi-step approval pipeline in YAML, but the “Last deployment status” in the Sentinel portal get’s stuck “In Progress”. This seems to be the case for most modifications to the default generated YAML files.

Is there an ETA for fixing this or best practices for modifying these?
