Problem to be solved
I made an entire map from scratch with StrongDMM. It's probably the greatest thing since sliced lightly fried fired lightly fried fried fried slice of toast, but the one problem that I've had so far with it is one thing: Accidental item placement in corners.
The area colored in red are common areas that seem to be accidentally clicked. These are not covered by the transparent black overlay and prone to accidental placements that you don't notice until later (or until live). Whenever I find an accidentally placed item, it always lines up with the corner of the screen that I was previously working on. This is because when switching z-levels or pressing nearby buttons, sometimes you can miss and click on the clickable area.
Sugest a solution
I know this is 90% a skill issue, but it would be great if deadzones can be set (areas that are visible on the interface, but you can't click on them) to prevent accidental placement of objects.
