2022: Publish freezes VS indefinitely when BuildVision is installed

In VS 2022, doing an ASP.NET (.NET Framework 4.8) publish makes the IDE go unresponsive. I've let it sit for 10 minutes with no results: I have to restart VS. With BuildVision uninstalled, the publish happens in about 30 seconds. Works fine in VS 2019. Due to this, I cannot use BuildVision.

Please provide guidance on what log info I need to pull which might help troubleshoot this.

Changing configurations can also freeze VS indefinity. This extension plagued me for many hours.... until I removed it that was.

currently testing the Preview version https://github.com/StefanKert/BuildVision?tab=readme-ov-file#setup-visual-studio-for-preview-channel with VS 2022 17.9.6 and this seems to be working for me. Can you give it a shot and let me know if this issue is being fixed for you too?
