Description
Your great site has Raspberry Pi 5 listed as "5B". I understand that as of February 28, 2024, the Raspberry Pi Foundation has released thus far a computer named "5", not "5B". https://www.raspberrypi.com/products/raspberry-pi-5/
It caused me confusion to visit Pimori's page at your site, https://pibenchmarks.com/user/pimoroni/ , and see models of "5B", that made me wonder if my new "5" is already one generation behind. I contacted Pimori and the company advises:
All current Pi 5 are 'model B' (i.e. full size, with 4x USB ports and an ethernet connector).
I think we can only choose from the board names that pibenchmarks have provided - doesn't look like Pi 5 is (without the B) is an option here. I imagine they've added the B for continuity with the other Pi board names and to avoid having to rename the board in the future if Pi announce a smaller 5 A board.
Shouldn't references the current model 5 be referred to as "5" at this time?
