Notification System — Questions to Decide

• Should notifications be sent at lab level (only for the specific lab you submitted)?

• Or at course level (any new submission in the same course, even for other labs)?

• Should users receive notifications for all courses, or only for courses where they submitted something?

• Do we allow users to follow/unfollow courses or labs?

• How do we prevent notification overload?

• Should users be able to disable all notifications, or choose what types they want?

• Do we support email notifications, in-app notifications, or both?

• If email is included, should it be critical only, per-event, or daily digest?

These questions need community input before designing the system.
