Description
Booking System Development Tracking & Suggestions
This issue tracks the development of the Booking System (introduced in PR #4172) and serves as a place for suggestions and feedback rather than clogging up a Pull Request.
✅ Current Functionality
- Convert
member_id→ member names - Display booking times in Zulu (UTC)
- Display Mentor/Examiner Name in tooltip
- Display Accepted Date in tooltip
- Confirm reliable data sourcing from CTS
- Display Users' Local Time and Zulu Time
- Automatically remove past bookings based on Zulu time
- Show Old Bookings
- Explore Options of displaying bookings in the Local Timezone rather than Zulu (Toggle on)
- Fix tests so my emails do not get spammed
- Fix Seminar hover info
🚀 Planned Next Steps
- Speak to the Tech Team about making this live to get feedback without the ability to book slots. (forgot to do this but PR is ready for review

- Pull Events from https://events.vatsim.uk/ and potentially remove them from the CTS database
- Implement full booking capability directly from the main site
