How to calculate similarity metric of two registered images? #34

I have two images which are registered. I resampled one of them to the other one. Now I have two images in the same frame of reference. I would like to calculate the similarity metric (like MSD) between those images. I can getVolumetricData from both images but the shape is not necessarily the same. I can get overlap in Dicom coordinates but I am struggling on how to get VolumetricData only for the overlap region.
