2nd filter for the same field is ignored

When I use an advanced filter e.g.

https://myhost/myedge?where[createdAt][gt]=2019-04-06&where[createdAt][lt]=2019-04-07

second filter is ignored, api-core returns documents/records as if only the first filter was given.
