Description
There is an issue with latest (1.6.1) installer when it is being run against a fresh installation of Conda that was never used. We do not normally use conda (uv is a thing these days) so we installed Miniconda, which when installed, requires accepting ToS when interacting with repositories for the first time. That causes Ryzen AI software installer to hang indefinitely on conda environment creation step with no ability to interrupt the installation through legitimate cancellation. We accepted ToS and then the installation could proceed cleanly.
I think the larger issue is that the installer hard-depends on conda in the first place. At the very least, it would be good to have an option to use Ryzen AI software for C++ development without having to pull Python/Conda with it in the first place.
