Sharpen with mask

I'd like to apply the sharpen tool locally (e.g. to make an eye "pop") via a mask (and I'm sure later I'll also want to apply many more effects that are present in the main interface but with masks) but even with CTL scripts I could not find a way to apply a sharpen operation on the image. I guess the issue so far is that CTL is only per-pixel while sharpen needs neighbouring pixels to run wavelet-like decomposition… Would you consider adding this tool (and more?) as a mask-based entry?

Texture boost/sharpening already allows you to do that. Just use a small values for both strength and detail scale
