Left click behaviour bug with dropdown menus, MAC OS

Hi there,
I’m running into an intermittent issue with dropdown menus in ART. Sometimes, when I click a dropdown, the menu appears but immediately disappears as soon as I release the mouse button, so I have to click it again to actually use it. Other times, a short click behaves as expected and the menu stays open.

It feels similar to the long-press behaviour (where the menu only stays visible while the mouse button is held down), which I assume is intentional. However, for a normal short click I’d expect the menu to remain open until I make a selection or click elsewhere.

This happens with both my mouse and the MacBook trackpad

ART VERSION: 1.25.11 (although has been happening since I started using ART a few versions go).
MAC OS: 15.6.1

Hi,
Yes I've seen this as well and it's driving me crazy :-)
But I'm afraid it's a problem of the underlying gui library used by art (gtk), as there's nothing special on the art side that is done for macos, it's the same code for all platforms. But I will investigate further

Oh no! Hopefully you come across something. I'll have a dig around too.
But ultimately It's not a huge issue...just slightly irritating 🫠
