Hello All! Thanks for using bee!

I got an in person request for a place to discuss things that isn't an issue. So here we are! Please use discussions as you wish. I don't have time to moderate here so please be kind to others or walk away if you feel yourself getting heated. As always, I refuse to advertise to you or collect any information about any of the people using bee, even anonymized aggregate data. Thus I have no idea how many people use bee or where they are with the exception of the feedback I get here and in person.

Additionally, as I'm sure some have noticed, I'm generally pretty absent where it comes to maintaining bee, which is unlikely to change soon. However, I do have plans that I might someday get to. Those plans are as follows:

1. Rewrite bee on top of deno and migrate away from netlify.
2. Really think about what it means to remove words from bee, probably create a system for volunteer "curation" where words can be voted onto an "offensive" list and users can enable the offensive list for their puzzles if they so wish.
3. Introduce some collaboration and/or competition features that were originally planned.
4. Use the awesome logo I had made for the project!

Until I carve out time for these plans I will be minimally available. I've set a calendar reminder so I don't miss the next year of puzzle updates but aside from that I won't be doing any other work. Thanks again for using bee and I hope you continue to enjoy it!
