It looks like the 'DES-ECB' encryption is outdated on newer node versions. Has anyone gotten around this to be able to use the library?

Has it been resolved? I get the same error "error:0308010C:digital envelope routines::unsupported".

it looks like that openssl3.x don't support the old generation method, e.g. echo "test" | openssl DES-ECB will be error.

Adding the ‘-pbkdf2’ parameter fixes this issue, e.g. echo "test" | openssl DES-ECB -pbkdf2 （openssl.cnf should enable the ‘-legacy’ setting）
