related to watertightness of the reconstructed model

helllo there,

i was running points2poly on my data, but i have noticed that there are some faces are not reconstructed, specifically when the face does not have the points or plane. as far as i know it should make the water tight model and at that time it should use the bounding box, extend the model upto there and make a surface there.

i tried it on a pentagon shape with one side missing, here is the point cloud.

can you please point me where i can find solution for this,

hi, the partitioning should be ok, but the labeling of the polyhedra, if done wrong, could lead to this problem. You might want to check the initial_padding parameter in CellComplex.__init__(). I'm not sure if the version you use implements a mechanism where boundary polyhedra are always labeled as outside. Also, please note the provided checkpoint was tight to the training data and won't be able to handle every custom scenario you may have.
