Recent versions of COLMAP support explicit modeling of sensor rigs (https://colmap.github.io/rigs.html).
This is extremely useful for multi-camera setups and for 360°/spherical capture rigs.
Adding the same feature to glomap would improve reconstruction accuracy for many datasets (especially multi-camera and 360 captures) and enable easier ingestion of datasets that already provide rig metadata.
Is there any intention or roadmap to add this to glomap? If not, would the maintainers accept a community contribution to implement it?
