Any chance to get FirectFB2 to work on Illumos

Hello,

I am working on a project and it will use the Illumos (OpenIndiana) OS which comes from OpenSolaris.

I would like to use the DirectFB version of FreeRDP since I did not want to install the heavy Xorg and X11 graphics driver so I am wondering if there has been any effort or thoughts to get DirectFB2 to work on that OS?

Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have never experimented with illumos but I assume DirectFB2 should work using the following DRM interface support available on illumos: https://github.com/illumos/gfx-drm
