WPF ItemsControl load performance when adding toggleswitch to each row

im reading in about 100-200 values and binding them to an items control, also added the toggleswitch to the itemtemplate. without the button, the list loads almost instantly, once i add the toggleswitch and bind it to a value, it take 4-5 seconds to load the screen. is there any way to increase the peformance of this?
