QuadBurst and beyond?

Not an issue per-se, more of a suggestion.

Any chance for quad burst support akin to double burst? For those 3-step skillchains where 4 spells back-to-back would be super or heck even hexa burst for a 4-step for 6 spells back-to-back?

I realize a break in the chain wont stop the spells from going off or anything, but I would think the reward outweighs those risk with things like Sortie and Odyssey being what they are.

So you're thinking something where it'll trigger on the first SC and then just keep firing spells until?
This likely meaning ignoring elements potentially of later chains. So if the first SC were fusion it's gonna just fire Fire spells until it hits your target number of MB attempts.
I suppose that'd be workable.
I'll add this to my project list for when I return to the game in the spring.

Pretty much yes- keep firing those spells off.

I was practicing for Ongo on a wildskeeper reive- just my small 6-box party in the battlefield.

Using a Scholar and Corsair, I created a Gravitation skillchain with the SCH and closed it with a Darkness from the COR for a nice 3 step-window where my BLM and GEO could burst. With current settings, both the BLM and GEO will double burst from the Gravitation chain, but stop after 2 spells and effectively ignore the Darkness burst window (understandable since the addon doesn't check if the window is still open- it just casts twice regardless).

With something similar to double bursting where it'll cast x4 or x6 times instead... hopefully the GEO and BLM would keep the stone spells firing during both the Gravitation and Darkness chains, which is super helpful in those fights where you're only bursting 1 spell type (like Ongo).

If opening with -aja to tier nukes becomes a thing that'll make it all the better.

I imagine I could get it to respect the elements I want by forcing weather on the bursters and/or starting the chain with the preferred element.

Oh, something isn't working as intended there ...
While it should, if you have set to double burst, just cast 2x regardless of MB window (sort of, eh, close enough)
It shouldn't be ignoring a second MB window.
This seems like a great time to check out debug mode and/or turn on show spells.
It should be triggering on that Darkness, even if you're midcast, it should at least see it and try to select a spell.
There may be a wonky delay setting somewhere, like I had a default setting that isn't ideal for todays cast times.
If it isn't that, and for some reason it is flat out ignoring the second SC then I'll add that to bugs to explore in the future.

You should also, unless I forgot to push that version, be able to use "//amb cast aja" and if double burst is on it will cast your chosen tier of spell (or the next tier down if it's on recast ofc). I may not have updated the readme ...

Yes using the storm spell to force a particular element is a solid idea. I'd def do that for ensuring I cast stonja > stone 6 > stone 5 > stone 4. For the one guy that I'm thinking of and forgetting the name of.

p.s. "//amb cast aja" returns a message in the chat log: "Cast Type set to spell". It stills casts tier spells, no ajas unfortunately.
