Steam appears to have patched/broken this

As of the past week or so this appears to no longer work, at least for item showcases.

Existing extra showcases will continue to display, but upon trying to edit any beyond the first three, Steam gives an error:

There was an error saving the featured item configuration. Please try again later.

I'm not sure there's any was we can make around this; if not this may be dead in the water, at least for item showcases

Additionally the original Steam guide for this https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3124365037 appears to have gone dead, so its author may be aware of this already.

I am the author of the guide, it was removed by steam support a day before they patched it, I wish they'd just properly implement more showcases
