StoryQuests are richer and more engaging when created collaboratively! Working with a partner or group of peers allows you to brainstorm more ideas, get feedback as you go, and share the workload, making your story stronger and more enjoyable to create. Even if you choose to work alone, knowing how to join a team prepares you for future collaborative projects.
Steps
Check the Online Community: Send a message or ping someone who seems like a good fit. Introduce yourself and your story idea briefly.
Agree on Roles: Decide who will handle which parts of the StoryQuest. For example, one person might focus on narrative while the other works on characters or game mechanics.
Join or Create a Team: If your partner already has a team, request to join. If not, create a new team and add your partner.
Update Your Status: Mark the “Join a Team” task as complete on the project board so others know your team is formed.
Start Collaborating: Schedule your first meeting or check-in and begin brainstorming your StoryQuest together.
Tip: Even short, regular check-ins (10–15 minutes) help teams stay aligned and make collaboration easier.
