Possible to have source-cycler.lua pull from Scene Items instead of sources in a group?

Thank you for making the source-cycler.lua script. Is it possible to target just items in a scene instead of them having to be in a group? I tried but does not work, is there some code that I could change? any help would be greatly appreciated.
