About generating input for --kmer parameter

I am trying to run LongTrack and I noticed that the --kmer (-k) parameter requires a directory with unique k-mers for each long-read MAG. Could you clarify how these unique k-mers should be generated? Should they be produced using KMC from the MAG sequences, or is there a specific preprocessing step recommended by LongTrack to create the files like *_kmcdb_dump_withpos?
