Using HDF5 vs HDF4

Hello,

I am having trouble with the runGdal function. I do have GDAL installed, however I have HDF5 not HDF4 installed, and I am having trouble getting HDF4 installed. Does the package work with HDF5?

Never tried it, to be honest. Did you manage to get it working?
