Issue for tracking the datasets for the various federal states in Germany:

• Baden-Württemberg: Not available:
  "Es gibt lediglich die Zuordnung der Flurstücke zu Gewannen. Die Gewanne liegen im Original aber nicht als Flächenförmige Objekte vor, sondern es gibt nur die attributive Angabe des Gewanns oder einer Straße beim Flurstück."
• Bayern: Email sent (I only found a WMS)
• Berlin: as part of Brandenburg
• Brandenburg
• Bremen: as part of Niedersachsen
• Hamburg: as part of Niedersachsen
• Hessen: Email sent -> nur Flurstücke/Liegenschaften
• Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

• Nordrhein-Westfalen
• Rheinland-Pfalz: Email sent -> They said the state doesn't record field blocks.
• Saarland
• Sachsen
• Sachsen-Anhalt: Email sent -> Planned to be available in Oct 2025

Something for Baden-Württemberg to investigate: https://metadaten.geoportal-bw.de/geonetwork/srv/eng/catalog.search#/metadata/88480da5-6516-4a4d-99a0-cf9f8af16e1f They may also have data for earlier years (2018+) that can be obtained via email.

An attempt to get data from ALKIS, here examplary for Bavaria, may also work for all other federal states:

Need to get in touch with Sachen Anhalt, they have the data, but offer it only as WMS right now.

"Baden-Württemberg": the data is there, also "FIONA" data, there's just no way to download it. Maybe you can ask them. There is something called Fiona, see "https://metadaten.geoportal-bw.de/geonetwork/srv/api/records/7c1ae842-c92a-45d3-8fee-6bf6c7d58485?language=all" . Let's see how far this gets me...

"Sachen Anhalt"; I've tried this before and got stuck. Also now, I can find ALKIS LandCoverUnit as open data, but that's a lot more than Crop-fields.

Sachsen-Anhalt is coming later this year, I've talked to the guy responsible for it.
Baden-Württemberg: Weird, they told me that there is no such data so it's surprising that you found this metadata entry.... I guess we could try to extract it from the WFS, but I guess it's a good idea to take some samples first to confirm that the data makes sense/is useful.
