CFAST Not Saving Thermal Properties

We've downloaded the latest CFAST build (7.7.5) and we notice that none of our thermal properties are being saved to the INI file. Is this a bug with this version?

There are no errors displayed when we save but on viewing the INI file in Windows, it doesn't update the date/time when we save.

Post the .in file to this thread. You might need to add the extension .txt.

There is a bug. None of the quick fix ideas I had worked. I really have no idea what is up. Very strange. We will get started on this.

I'm confused. The file you uploaded seems to run fine in the latest version of the model. Here's the output from that run. I opened the file in CEdit, saved it as Test.in (and the thermal properties saved to Test.in as expected), and ran it with CFAST (the output seems to have the thermal properties). Am I missing what's wrong with the file?

thank you for looking. Yes it will run but will only allow me to implement 6no thermal properties? It will not allow more than that. When you run the model it is not considering for example plastic and glass, being thermal properties 7 and 8. After saving all, when you then exit it does not save more than 6no thermal properties.

As a work around don't have seperate properties for stone, flagstone, and concrete. Make some area weighted average property set or pick the one that is dominant in the upper layer where the most heat transfer is. Beyond 10 cm in thickness, you are not going to have significant heat reach the backside over 1800 s. The remaining properties (density, specific heat, and conductivity) are close.
